Role: Senior Network Architect

Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, modernize, and lead enterprise network infrastructure across LAN/WAN, data center, SD-WAN, security, and hybrid cloud environments. The role focuses on scalable, secure, and highly available architectures aligned with business and security objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design enterprise network architectures for LAN/WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, data centers, and cloud connectivity.
- Develop HLDs, LLDs, standards, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Lead network modernization initiatives including automation, segmentation, Zero Trust, and SDN.
- Provide technical leadership for routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Design hybrid/multi-cloud connectivity across Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Architect secure network solutions aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and related frameworks.
- Lead migration planning, cutovers, and infrastructure optimization initiatives.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, infrastructure, and operations teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies including SD-WAN, SASE, observability, and AI-driven networking.
- Mentor engineering teams and engage with vendors and stakeholders on architecture decisions.
Required Qualifications
- 8–12 years of enterprise network engineering/architecture experience.
- Strong expertise in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VXLAN, and EVPN.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs, and load balancers.
- Experience with platforms including Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, F5, and Check Point Software Technologies.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus, ACI, Arista, Juniper, and SDN technologies.
- Knowledge of SD-WAN solutions such as Cisco Viptela, Meraki, VMware VeloCloud, and Aruba EdgeConnect.
- Familiarity with automation tools such as Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
- Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications
- CCNP / CCIE (Enterprise, Data Center, or Service Provider)
- AWS or Azure Solutions Architect certifications
- SD-WAN or security-related certifications preferred
