Barista (Nighttime)

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. If you have a love for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Operate cash registers accurately, handle cash transactions, and manage sales effectively.
• Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating needs to management.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment while ensuring timely service during peak hours.
• Engage with customers to promote menu items and provide recommendations based on their preferences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is a plus.
• Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with cash register operations is desirable.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of retail math for accurate transaction processing is beneficial.
• A passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques is highly valued.
