Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Handle retail sales transactions with precision, including cash handling, credit card processing, and issuing receipts.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries or concerns with a positive attitude.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high-quality service.
• Support food safety protocols by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with beverage preparation is a plus.
• Strong cash handling skills with experience processing cash transactions accurately.
• Proficiency in using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively engage with guests.
• Basic math skills for quick calculations related to sales and change management.
• Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
