We've partnered with a growing technology-focused organization in the healthcare and human-services space
to hire a full-time
Senior Staff Accountant
for their
Litchfield County office
.

What You'll Do:
- Maintain and update the
general ledger
across multiple entities - Prepare, review, and analyze
financial statements
(P&L, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance) - Monitor and reconcile
intercompany transactions - Assist with
multi-state payroll
oversight and annual W-2 review - Support the
month-end and year-end close
process - Prepare documentation for
external audits
, workers comp audits, and DOL surveys - Process
A/R transactions
including checks, ACH, and credit card payments - Complete
bank reconciliations
for multiple accounts - Prepare
1099s
, review vendor records & map G/L accounts - Initiate and approve
ACH/wire transfers - Assist CPA partner with investment entries and financial projects
- Serve as backup for
Payroll and Collections
What We're Looking For:
- 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Strong general ledger and reconciliation experience
- Understanding of financial statements
- Experience with
multi-state payroll
(ADP preferred) - Proficiency with
QuickBooks Online
and Google Workspace - Familiarity with Stripe, PayPal, Clover, Avalara, or Salesforce is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to work
onsite Monday–Friday
