We’ve partnered with a well-established engineering and construction-focused organization seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering professional to support complex commercial and infrastructure projects across the Bay Area.
This role is ideal for a licensed Electrical Engineer who enjoys leading projects from concept through completion while mentoring junior team members and collaborating closely with project and operations leadership.
The position will support large-scale projects within commercial, transportation, healthcare, and infrastructure environments.
Responsibilities- Lead electrical engineering projects from design through execution
- Mentor Engineers, Designers, and drafting/modeling staff
- Coordinate with Project Managers and leadership teams
- Oversee electrical system studies including Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Voltage Drop
- Ensure NEC and applicable code compliance
- Support utility coordination and electrical system design efforts
- Participate in project meetings and occasional site visits
- Support project delivery from planning through completion
- Active PE License required
- 8 years of electrical engineering experience
- Experience within commercial or infrastructure environments
- Revit experience preferred
- Strong NEC/code knowledge
- Experience mentoring or leading junior team members
- Knowledge of HV/MV distribution, lighting, grounding, and utility coordination
- Design-build project experience strongly preferred
