Quality Inspector
West Point, MS | $40,000 - $50,000 | In-Person | Full-Time
A well established and growing aerospace and defense manufacturer is hiring a Quality Inspector to join a team that cares about their people and takes pride in doing the job right. This is a company where people stick around, and they are hiring because business is growing.
What You'll Do:
- Inspect incoming materials, in process production, and finished products against specifications
- Conduct visual and dimensional checks using precision measuring equipment
- Issue Certificates of Conformance and document non-conformances
- Perform First Article Inspection and related documentation
- Maintain quality records and tracking spreadsheets
What You Bring:
- 5 years of production inspection experience or related work qualifying you to conduct inspection work
- 4 years working in an environment with a documented quality management system
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience in an ISO9001 or AS9100 certified company preferred
- Experience in electro optics assembly or with ESD sensitive parts a plus
