Program Manager - Defense Programs
Caledonia, MS | In-Person | $120K - $140K /yr | Full-Time
A well established and growing aerospace manufacturing company with deep roots in the industry is hiring a Program Manager to help lead the execution of large scale defense contracts. What You'll Do:
- Plan, schedule, and manage execution of large, complex DoD programs from start to finish
- Serve as a key point of contact for senior military leaders, government representatives, and industry partners
- Lead cross-functional project teams and keep everyone aligned on tasks and deliverables
- Own program budgets, monitor costs, and ensure efficient use of resources
- Identify risks early and build mitigation plans to keep programs on track
- Manage scope, schedule, and resource changes with proper documentation and approvals
- Support compliance with ITAR and CMMC requirements
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma principles
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification required
- 10 years of experience as a Program Manager in a DoD environment managing large scale projects ($100M )
- Industry-side program management experience strongly preferred over USG-side
- Navy program background is a big plus
- Advanced MS Office skills, including MS Project
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined under 22 U.S.C. 6010
