Schedule: 4:00pm–4:00am | 2-2-3 rotating schedule | Full-time | Onsite
We’re partnering with a well-established food manufacturing facility specializing in dairy production to hire a Production Supervisor for an overnight shift. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing production operations in a non-union plant environment, supporting safety, quality, efficiency, and team performance across the shift.
This role reports directly to the Production Manager and plays a key role in ensuring production goals, food safety standards, and employee engagement are consistently met.
What You’ll Be DoingSupervise and direct production employees across all stages of manufacturing
Monitor daily production flow to ensure output, quality, and safety standards are met
Oversee equipment operation, cleanliness, sanitation, and coordinate maintenance as needed
Promote and enforce safety practices; conduct incident investigations and reporting
Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, quality, and sanitation standards
Manage production schedules, labor coverage, and material staging
Lead shift meetings and communicate expectations clearly to the team
Coach, train, mentor, and evaluate employees; support performance development
Partner with HR and plant leadership on employee relations and discipline
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost containment
High school diploma or equivalent (related degree preferred)
2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (food or beverage strongly preferred)
Prior team lead, shift lead, or supervisory experience
Working knowledge of production processes, GMP, and food safety standards
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Comfort working an overnight 4:00pm–4:00am 2-2-3 rotating schedule
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems
