Key Account Manager – Consumer Goods
Remote (Houston, Tx) Travel | up to $85K base 10% bonus plus benefits
We’ve partnered with a rapidly growing consumer packaged goods company seeking a Key Account Manager to lead customer relationships and drive revenue growth across a defined territory. This is a remote role with 50% travel, ideal for a sales professional who loves building partnerships, growing accounts, and opening new markets.
What You’ll Do:
Manage relationships with regional retailers, distributors, and specialty markets
Identify new customer opportunities and grow assigned territory
Drive product placements, pricing strategy, and portfolio expansion
Review sales metrics to evaluate trends, opportunities, and risks
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service excellence
Proactively resolve customer challenges
Manage travel and territory expenses responsibly
What You Need:
5 years of CPG sales/account management experience
Experience with grocery, retail, or distributor channels
Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
Strategic, self-driven, and solutions-oriented mindset
Ability to travel 50%
Bachelor’s degree preferred
