Business Manager (English, Arabic/Turkish) – Food Distribution

A growing specialty food distributor is adding a Business Manager to strengthen its presence across the Austin market. This role operates primarily in the field, working directly with grocery and specialty retail customers to expand distribution, increase sales volume, and build long-term partnerships.
This opportunity suits sales professionals with backgrounds in food distribution, CPG, route-to-market sales, or retail account management who enjoy autonomy, customer interaction, and full ownership of a sales territory. Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and develop a defined portfolio of grocery and specialty retail accounts within the Austin area
• Introduce and represent a broad range of food and consumer packaged products to current and prospective customers
• Evaluate customer needs and recommend product solutions that support account growth
• Review sales trends and customer performance data to uncover new opportunities
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales goals and territory objectives
• Ensure in-store execution aligns with merchandising and planogram standards
• Identify and secure additional display and promotional placements when available
• Generate new business through proactive outreach, in-person visits, and relationship development
• Address customer concerns promptly to maintain strong service levels
• Collaborate with internal teams regarding promotions, inventory planning, and market insights
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions within CRM systems
Qualifications
• 2 years of experience in food distribution, CPG sales, route sales, merchandising, or account management
• Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Repsly, Salesforce, or comparable platforms
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently in the field
• Ability to lift 40 lbs and assist with merchandising or display setup as required
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and dependable transportation
• Bilingual in English and Arabic or Turkish is a plus
