A growing manufacturing organization in the Farmingdale area is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor to own its day-to-day Accounts Receivable operation.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who can supervise an Accounts Receivable Specialist while remaining directly involved with billing, collections, cash application, reconciliations, aging analysis, and customer-account resolution.
What You’ll Be Doing- Oversee customer invoicing, collections, cash application, and reconciliations
- Supervise, train, and assign work to an Accounts Receivable Specialist
- Monitor aging reports and drive the collection of past-due balances
- Resolve billing discrepancies, deductions, short payments, and customer issues
- Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records, documentation, and internal controls
- Partner with Customer Service and Finance to resolve account concerns
- Assist with cash forecasting, working-capital analysis, and KPI reporting
- Identify process improvements and strengthen Accounts Receivable workflows
- Five or more years of Accounts Receivable or accounting experience
- Previous manufacturing industry experience
- Accounts Receivable supervisory or team-lead experience
- Hands-on ERP system experience
- Strong collections, invoicing, cash-application, and reconciliation experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Ability to work onsite in the Farmingdale area
- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
