Accounting Specialist

$45-$59/hour | Monday-Friday 

We are seeking an Accounting & Risk Management Specialist to support accounting, reconciliations, reporting, insurance, claims, and operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliations

• Review GL, AP/AR, and intercompany accounts

• Investigate discrepancies and resolve outstanding items

• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports

• Assist with payroll, inventory, COGS, and lease reporting

• Track Certificates of Insurance and insurance schedules

• Assist with auto and workers' compensation claims

• Support safety, fleet, and compliance reporting

Requirements

• Accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or related experience

• Experience with bank reconciliations, GL, AP/AR, and account analysis

• Strong Excel skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organization

• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines

• Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills

Preferred: Experience with insurance, claims, risk management, fleet, or safety/compliance.
