Position Summary
This position is responsible auditing non-gaming paperwork, assisting in the preparation of cost of goods sold, tenant postings and participating in physical inventories.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: includes but not limited to:
- Performs daily audits of non-gaming sources documents and reconciles paperwork to system generated reports
- Posts transactions into the LMS Accounts Receivable module and ACSC systems
- Posts requisitions and cost transfers into the Stratton Warren system
- Participates in inventories and compares physical counts to accounting records
- Posts comp adjustments and reconciles point of sale reports to the comp system
- Adheres to internal operating procedures and controls
- Assists in the preparation of monthly journal entries
- Compiles check and wire requests for tenant payments
- Tracks the receipt of tenant monthly reports and payments
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in a computerized accounting environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Basic knowledge of accounting terms and practices
- Ability to comprehend lease agreements
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of internal operating procedures and controls
- Knowledge of ACSC, Infinium, LMS, RPOS and Cognos software
- Basic understanding of Standards of Operations and Management
- Proficient in the operation of electronic scanning devices
- Office work environment
- Must be able to sit in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with frequent bending, climbing and lifting during physical inventories
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
