We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to maintain and repair vehicles, adhering to all manufacturer guidelines. You will be responsible for reassembly, performing safety inspections, troubleshooting when necessary, aiming to maximum reliability and functionality. Candidate should be well-versed in complex mechanical or electronical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities.
Responsibilities
Inspect vehicle engine, steering, suspension, and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues
Keep logs on work and issues
Maintain equipment and tools in good condition.
Skills
Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a plus
Proven experience as auto mechanic
Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
Valid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plus.
Job requirement
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and maneuver any weight above 50 pounds with assistance on a regular basis.
