Job Responsibilities:
- Perform precise and efficient trimming of cannabis plants to remove excess leaves and stems while preserving the desired buds.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance with quality standards.
- Work in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to meet production goals and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient trimming process.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Communicate any concerns or issues regarding plant quality, pests, or diseases to the supervisor.
This is a full time position. This is a 1099 independent contractor job, you will need to supply your own trimming tools/scissors. OLCC workers permit and reliable transportation is required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cannabis trimming or related roles is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with cannabis strains, plant anatomy, and the basics of cannabis cultivation is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity to perform precise trimming techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods, including standing, sitting, bending, and using trimming tools.
- Understanding of and adherence to strict confidentiality and compliance requirements in the cannabis industry.

- This job requires reliable personal transportation. If you do not have reliable transportation this job is not for you.
