What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Camp Lifeguard position at Mohawk Day Camp?
Mohawk Day Camp is looking for lifeguards for our Summer 2026 season! This position is ideal for someone who is a strong swimmer, has swim team or lifeguarding experience. Lifeguard training/certification provided! Come make friends and have a rewarding summer as a member of our aquatics team!
On a given day, a Lifeguard will spend time:
- Lifeguarding one of our 8 heated swimming pools
- Providing swim instruction for our campers, ages 3-14
- Working on a team to maintain the safety of campers and staff within the pool complex
WHERE: Mohawk Day Camp is privately owned, situated on 40 well manicured acres of land nestled in the heart of White Plains, NY.
WHEN: Camp is in session June 29 - August 20; Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 4:15pm. (Camp is closed Friday, July 3rd).

Pay: $3,750.00 - $3,950.00 per year
