Dental Assistant

Position: Lead Dental Assistant

Location:2401 S. Kanawha Str. Suite 103, Beckley, WV 25801

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies.
• Manage and coordinate the dental assistant team, including scheduling and training.
• Help with ortho patients.
• Lab Work

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a dental assistant.
• Certification or licensure as a dental assistant.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
