Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical systems, and suspension, various parts, etc.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify any potential problems or safety concerns
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
- Perform automotive repairs, including engine repairs, brakes, suspension systems, and other automotive components
-Operate gas welding equipment to join a variety of metals and alloys; operate acetylene torches for cutting and/or shaping metal parts such as aluminum, cast iron, and steel.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations to customers
- Keep accurate records of all services performed on vehicles
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Automotive Technician
- Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, powertrain systems, tire service, brake repair, and general automotive repair
- Experience with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) is a plus
- Ability to weld and perform shocks and struts replacements
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment to diagnose vehicle issues
-ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications preferred
-Additional certifications in specific automotive systems or brands are a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with customers
