Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage high-priority IT projects from planning to implementation.
- Ensure project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements are met.
- Develop and secure approval for the Project Management Plan.
- Create and track detailed project schedules and deliverables.
- Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders and coordinate communication across teams.
- Provide weekly updates and conduct status meetings and presentations.
- Manage risks, issues, and scope changes through the RAID log.
- Work closely with application, data warehouse, networking, security, QA, and other IT teams.
- Coordinate system testing, reviews, and project inspections.
- PMI PMP Certification (Minimum 5 Years Active)
- Experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIMS)
- 7 – 9 years of experience managing technical initiatives involving large, complex IT teams.
- Strong expertise in project budgeting, planning, communication, leadership, scheduling, and negotiations.
- Ability to ramp up quickly and perform independently.
- Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary IT teams and vendors.
- Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Must work onsite in Harrisburg, PA two days per week.
- Experience with government or public health IT projects.
- Knowledge of enterprise data warehouse integrations.
- Experience managing multi-year modernization initiatives.
