Key Responsibilities
- Develop deep operational understanding of mass spectrometry products under development.
- Perform instrument setup, calibration, validation, and performance testing.
- Lead customer technical engagements, including on-site system evaluations and troubleshooting.
- Support MS tool evaluations at semiconductor OEMs and fabs.
- Develop market-driven application solutions with potential customers.
- Prepare application-specific solution bundles (HW SW).
- Capture application requirements early in customer interactions.
- Deliver customer-facing presentations, demos, and training sessions.
- Generate sample analysis reports to support sales cycles.
- Drive product definition by translating system specs into component-level requirements.
- Contribute to next-generation product roadmap discussions.
- Strengthen customer relationships through technical expertise and responsiveness.
- Identify new application opportunities and prepare internal/external proposals.
- Master’s degree 6 years experience OR Bachelor’s degree 8–12 years experience (PhD not preferred)
- 5 years hands-on experience with mass spectrometers, gas analyzers, or similar analytical tools.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor processes (Etch, CVD, ALD).
- Customer-facing experience — ability to answer technical queries, present solutions, and run demos.
- Experience in system-level debugging, prototype testing, and NPI processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to manage customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable in dynamic, early-stage environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
- Experience with plasma diagnostics or advanced analytical platforms.
- Knowledge of PLCs, hardware controls, Python, or LabVIEW scripting.
- Sample analysis experience for customer evaluation programs.
- Strong proposal writing and presentation creation skills.
- Exposure to product management or field solutions roles.
