The Professional Learning Specialist partners closely with district leaders, administrators, and teachers to ensure successful adoption and sustained use of educational solutions throughout the customer lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, fee-based professional learning sessions for educators and administrators, both virtually and in-person
- Facilitate small and large group trainings, modeling instructional best practices and effective classroom strategies
- Develop and implement professional learning plans aligned with district goals and program objectives
- Customize training materials and presentations based on client needs and learning outcomes
- Prepare for and manage all aspects of training delivery, including scheduling, logistics, and follow-up
- Maintain accurate customer records, session summaries, and recommendations for next steps
- Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to ensure a seamless client experience
- Support multiple districts and projects simultaneously while managing service delivery timelines
- Participate in a collaborative professional learning community, sharing best practices and continuously improving delivery methods
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a client-facing environment
- Travel extensively to support on-site training engagements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in education, blended learning, or online learning environments
- Experience with core curriculum products is strongly preferred for roles designated as Professional Learning Specialist, STEM
- Teaching experience or current/prior teaching certification required
- Proven experience delivering professional development, training, or instructional coaching
- Strong understanding of instructional best practices and curriculum implementation
- Experience working with school districts, administrators, and educators
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Zoom, Teams, and other virtual learning tools
- Self-starter with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
