This role is ideal for a strategic and hands-on leader who can drive high-quality professional development programs while managing a team, optimizing delivery, and aligning initiatives with customer outcomes and business objectives. The Director will partner cross-functionally with sales and customer success teams to ensure impactful implementation and strong client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing professional learning team, including full-time and part-time staff
- Define and execute professional learning strategies aligned with organizational goals and customer needs
- Oversee the planning and delivery of professional learning sessions, ensuring quality, consistency, and impact
- Partner with internal stakeholders, including Sales and Customer Success, to support client onboarding, implementation, and retention
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance for professional learning programs, identifying opportunities for efficiency and growth
- Analyze performance data and metrics (including CRM data) to drive continuous improvement and inform decision-making
- Oversee scheduling, territory alignment, and resource allocation to meet revenue and utilization targets
- Ensure development and execution of customized professional learning plans for clients
- Maintain and enforce communication standards and best practices across the team
- Stay current on educational trends, instructional strategies, and curriculum best practices, incorporating insights into program delivery
- Deliver professional learning sessions as needed and maintain certification in at least one solution area
- Travel as needed to support client engagements and team initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field required
- 7 years of experience in education, including:
- At least 5 years of teaching experience (Math strongly preferred)
- At least 3 years in leadership or team management roles
- Demonstrated experience leading high-performing teams and driving results
- Strong background in professional learning delivery, instructional coaching, and curriculum implementation
- Deep understanding of instructional best practices, including problem-based learning methodologies
- Experience working with school districts and educational stakeholders
- Strong business acumen with experience supporting revenue-generating initiatives
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, virtual collaboration tools (Zoom/Teams), and CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Willingness to travel up to 60% (including overnight travel)
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
