Summary
Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to Oncology population. Assist in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Adheres to rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.

Minimum Licensure: Basic Life Support (BLS)Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Other (If other, please enter details in section to the right)
Minimum Licensure (Other): CNA not required for students who have completed nursing fundamental course and are actively enrolled in nursing program (LPN, ASN, ADN, BSN). Must submit transcripts to department manager a minimum of twice per calendar year. Must provide authorization to test (ATT-NCLEX RN or ATT-NCLEX-PN, schedule and pass the test within 90 days of graduation from nursing program, as appropriate.
Training Required: -Successful completion of Moffitt’s Oncology Technician orientation and checklist within the first ninety days of employment. - Basic familiarity with nursing procedures and knowledge of medical terminology. - Fundamental computer skills. - Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills.
Salary Range
$20.50 - $20.50
