Position Highlights
- The Director, Clinical Trials Revenue Cycle Early Therapeutics is responsible for providing leadership and has general oversight of Clinical Trials Revenue Cycle functions including Contracts, Budgets, Coverage analysis, Clinical Trial Management System calendars, pre and post activation amendments for the Early Therapeutic program.
- The Director is the signatory authority to clinical trial agreements, Letter of Indemnification, sub-sites and Master agreements. The Director is responsible for ensuring efforts are in compliance with the Center's guidelines, state and federal regulations by monitoring and evaluating the quality and appropriateness of the department activities.
- This position will drive a centralized approach, working in close partnership with the Early Therapeutics Chair and their clinical research team to ensure seamless, compliant, and efficient trial operations. A successful Director, promotes and supports the clinical trial infrastructure to advance clinical trial activation, study management and provides support to principal investigators, clinical research and revenue cycle personnel. The Director works proactively and collaborates with various departments across the organization to design efficient and compliant operational workflows to achieve activation and revenue targets.
- Responsible for Early Therapeutic Clinical Trial Agreements
- Manage the vendor responsible for coverage analysis for early therapeutic studies, ensuring timely and compliant development, execution, and implementation of corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee and support Coverage Analysis functions to achieve predefined goals and targets, providing feedback and guidance to the team.
- Responsible for maintaining Clinical Trial Management System calendars for early therapeutic studies, ensuring timely and compliant development, execution, and implementation of corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee all revenue cycle operations for clinical trials in early therapeutic studies, ensuring financial integrity and supporting the overall financial health of Moffitt Cancer Center.
- Serve as a liaison between Revenue Cycle Clinical Trials and Early Therapeutics Investigators
- Responsible for ensuring adherence to Revenue Cycle clinical research guidelines, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements for Early Therapeutics.
- Bachelor’s degree - field of study: Business, Public Health, Healthcare related or similar field
- Minimum of eight (8) years of healthcare or related industry experience in clinical research business functions (contracting, budgeting, negotiating, clinical trial management systems and/or Coverage Analysis development) of academic medical centers
- Minimum of three (3) years leadership experience.
