Summary
We are currently seeking a Infection Prevention MGR:
The Infection Prevention Manager, in conjunction with the Director, develops and implements facility-wide infection
prevention and control measures to protect patients, staff and visitors; monitors patient care for compliance with
established policies and procedures and investigates known or suspected sources of infections in order to determine the
source, method for prevention and establish control; ensures compliance with state, federal and Joint Commission
standards relating to infection control.
EDUCATION:
Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred: Masters
Field of Study: nursing, public health, epidemiology, medical technology or related field
Note: If degree is not in nursing, a master's is
required
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Board Certification in Infection Prevention & Control
Current BLS
Minimum Experienced Required: 5 years experience in infection prevention & control in an acute healthcare environment
Preferred:
Experience in oncology infection prevention
Previous supervisory or management experience
