Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. The Caregiver role involves providing essential care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Provide dementia care and support for clients with memory impairments
Qualifications
- Experience in long-term care, nursing homes, or similar settings is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and practices
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals such as nurses and social workers
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards clients
- Understanding of dementia care principles and strategies
