AP Assistant

Job description:

We are in need of adding a Accounts Payable Assistant to our team. We are looking for someone with prior experience in this field.

Responsibilities Include :

• Support to Accounts Payable Analyst
• Printing and processing of invoices daily to ensure timely entry and to prevent delays in vendor payments
• Review, verify and post invoices, ensuring they match purchase orders and have been received in the system.
• Reconcile weekly vendor payment schedules and perform quality checks.
• Batch checks, with appropriate support of AP Analyst to generate checks runs.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Reviewing of AP aging report.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoices payment status.
• Assist with other AP duties as needed or requested by AP Analyst

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable Preferred
• Ability to work on own initiative and part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Punctual
• Prior experience supporting an accounting department
• Prior experience with ERP Accounting System not required but is a plus

Qualifications:* Applicants must have at least a High school diploma or equivalent
* Applicants are preferred to have had at least 1 years experience
* Applicants must be at least 18
* Applicants must hold a Regular valid driving license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
