Business Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Business Analyst for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC(Hybrid). You will be responsible for analyzing and translating data into actionable insights to support financial crimes and compliance projects.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $64/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Analyst Job Responsibilities Include

• Analyzing and translating data into actionable insights to support financial crimes, AML, and economic sanctions projects
• Collaborating with financial crimes analysts and quantitative modelers to review business requirements and data needs
• Conducting data profiling and mapping, analyzing results, and providing comprehensive reports
• Reviewing data flows and communicating impacts related to new data sources or projects
• Gathering and translating business requirements into detailed specifications for development teams
• Managing project deliverables and timelines, ensuring alignment with project goals and deadlines
• Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities in collaboration with development partners
• Coordinating and multitasking across various projects while ensuring attention to detail and timely delivery.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
• 8 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst with 6 years of experience in MongoDB and SQL
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a strong understanding of financial crimes, AML, and economic sanctions
• Proven ability to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and manage project timelines effectively.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $64.00 per hour
