Job Title: Quality Technician
Reports to: Supervisor of designated department
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Schedule: (Monday-Thursday) extended hours may be required to support business needs
Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Process documentation associated with HTR’s, PPAP, QIP, Data Sheets, PQCT, and PFMEA.
- Customer support and point of contact for quality-related issues.
- Confirm and isolate suspected off-quality product and conduct basic root cause analysis.
- Collect and monitor data for internal and external suppliers.
- Maintain and update quality documents in Plexus.
- Support Quality Manager with goals set forth in department business plan.
- Assist with New Model Group and Research and Development as needed.
- Update quality documents for manufacturing usage.
- Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
- Adhere to and maintain the following policies, procedures and guidelines:

- ISO 9000 and 14001
- Associate Handbook
- 5-S
Education, prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Must be able to follow detailed instructions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Good analytical problem solving skills.
- Able to read and understand drawings and blueprints.
- Able to maintain confidential information.
- Self-motivated team player.
- Successful completion of role-specific testing.
Physical environment/work conditions:
The position is in the factory and could involve sitting, standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day.
Other (e.g., customer contact or access to confidential information):
This position works in a production environment. The position will report directly to the Production supervisor and will have daily interaction with other team members.
