Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable In-House Window Installer to join our team in Orchard Park, NY. In thisrole, you will safely remove old windows and install high-quality, energy-efficient replacements in localproperties. As an in-house employee, you will be a vital face of our brand, ensuring precise craftsmanship onevery job site. We provide all necessary tools, gear, and equipment so you can focus entirely on doing a greatjob.
Core Responsibilities
Preparation: Measure, inspect, and prepare window openings and surrounding areas before installation.
Removal: Safely remove old windows, frames, and debris without damaging the property.
Installation: Install new windows, glass units, frames, weather stripping, and hardware securely andaccurately.
Sealing & Finishing: Apply insulation, caulking, sealant, and trim to ensure airtight, weatherproof, andvisually appealing results.
Quality Assurance: Test window functionality (opening, locking, sealing) to guarantee flawlessperformance.
Clean-up: Maintain a clean, safe workspace and properly dispose of all job-related waste.
Customer Service: Answer client questions politely and walk them through the operation and care oftheir new windows.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
Experience: 2 years of proven experience in window installation, carpentry, or residential remodeling.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools (drills, saws, levels, caulking guns).
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in variousweather conditions.
Detail-Oriented: Exceptional eye for precision, leveling, alignment, and clean finishing work.
License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate company service vehicles.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, punctuality, and a professional, customer-first attitude.
Certifications: Lead-Safe certification (EPA RRP) is a major plus (or willingness to obtain it).
