MTSI is committed to supporting transitioning service members through the DoW SkillBridge Program, providing an opportunity to gain meaningful civilian work experience during the final months of active duty. This program is designed to bridge the gap between military service and the civilian workforce through structured training and hands-on, mission-aligned experience.
As a SkillBridge Fellow, you will be embedded within real teams supporting active programs that contribute to national security and some of the nation’s most technically complex challenges. Throughout the experience, you will gain exposure to MTSI’s employee-first culture, receive mentorship from experienced professionals, and build the skills needed to successfully transition into a civilian career.
This is a structured training experience designed to support your transition from military service to a civilian career. While many fellows are considered for full-time opportunities, offers are based on performance and business needs. Participation is subject to command approval and DoW SkillBridge eligibility requirements.

- Supporting project and program activities, including planning, execution, and tracking of deliverables
- Assisting with coordination of schedules, resources, and team activities
- Contributing to reports, briefings, and program documentation
- Supporting communication across teams, stakeholders, and leadership
- Identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Participating in ongoing technical, analytical, or operational initiatives as part of structured training
- Active duty service member eligible for the DoW SkillBridge Program
- Participation approved (or in process) through command channels
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience leading or supporting projects, programs, or operational efforts
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
