Role Description
As Senior Program Director for Integrated Space Defense, you will lead efforts to develop and execute cutting-edge solutions that enhance space warfighting capabilities and next generation missile defense. In this role, you will manage programs, oversee technical teams, and ensure timely delivery of high-impact solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, managing program budgets, overseeing schedules, identifying risks, and ensuring successful project outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in advancing MTSI's mission to deliver best-value solutions for national security and defense challenges.
Qualifications
- Proven program management experience, including budget management, risk assessment, and delivering large-scale projects (at DoW/IC/National Agencies with multi-level security, cloud-native digital engineering infrastructure, environments, tools, ecosystems, cybersecurity control measures, assessments and authorizations highly desired).
- Extensive knowledge of space defense systems, strategic operations, and technological innovation in aerospace and defense (including NORAD USNORTHCOM, National Guard, Missile Defense Agency, or Rapid Space Acquisition highly desired).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing technical teams and collaborating with senior-level stakeholders.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills relevant to complex technical challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Advanced degree in engineering, aerospace, defense systems, or related technical fields preferred.
