- Provide the government customer expert technical assistance to enable the Information Assurance (IA) program of an organization, system, or enclave
- Implement and enforce information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
- Prepare and maintain security documentation and records
- Evaluate security solutions for processing classified information
- Advise configuration management (CM) for information system security software, hardware, and firmware
- Serve as the approval authority for assigned systems
- Obtain Certification & Accreditation (C&A) for assigned systems
- Administer user identification and authentication mechanisms
- Plan and coordinate IT security programs and policies
- Interact with Government customers, IT staff, and high-level corporate officers to define and achieve IA objectives
- Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to abide by MTSI's core values
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience as an ISSO
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
- Compliance with DoDD 8140 IAM Level I requirements
- TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
