What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Inspector position at Modern Tec Manufacturing, Inc.?
Modern-Tec Manufacturing Inc. is a full-service machine shop located in Lockport, New York looking to add capacity to our CNC Mill department. We specialize in providing precision machining solutions with a technical emphasis on multi-axis work. From within our 15,000-square foot climate controlled facility we utilize the latest CNC machining centers and software including automated CMM’s and vision machines. Modern-Tec is an ISO 9001-2008 certified company.
We currently have an inspector position available for 1st shift. Inspector duties include:
- Programming CMM's with PC-DMIS
- 1st piece and final part inspections
- Creating and filling out quality reports
- Setting up parts per operation needed
- Proving out new programs
- Interpret blue prints
- Process parts as efficiently as possible while holding tight tolerances
- Training available for programming but experience is a big plus
We offer flex time, overtime, vacation after 1 year, medical and retirement savings. We would like a minimum of 3 years setup experience. Pay is based on experience.
