Duties

• Carefully unpack, assemble, and install a variety of office furniture pieces including desks, chairs, cubicles, storage units, and conference room setups.
• Use hand tools and power tools skillfully to secure furniture components according to specifications.
• Conduct thorough inspections during installation to ensure stability, alignment, and safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with project teams to coordinate installation schedules and adapt plans as needed for space constraints or client requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues related to furniture fitment or structural adjustments promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after installations to promote safety and efficiency.
• Utilize specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical components when necessary, ensuring all installations comply with electrical safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in furniture assembly or installation preferred; strong mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, or assembly instructions clearly.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment essential for efficient installation work.
• Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus; specifically experience using ohmmeters for testing circuits or components.
• Excellent physical stamina to lift heavy furniture items repeatedly and work in various positions throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Pay: $18.00 - $29.00 per hour
