We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Dental Assistant to join our quality dental practice. This position is full-time and requires someone who is a kind, gentle, caring, positive team player who is able to clearly communicate with a smile on their face.
We are a dental office in the heart of the Central Coast and seeking someone who is interested in being a long-term member of our growing team.
- Welcoming patients, sitting them and setting up for treatment.
- Taking X-rays and being able to use the managing software to acquire and input information.
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Being able to assist in many disciplines of dentistry with calmness and confidence
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Good computer skills
- Attention to detail, Well-organized and reliable
- X-ray & Infection Control Certificated (Required)
- BONUS skills: bilingual (Spanish speaking)
- Dental experience is NOT required.
