Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Drywall Estimator, based in Broken Arrow, OK. As a Drywall Estimator, you will evaluate project-specific plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals. Your day-to-day tasks will include analyzing blueprints, visiting job sites to assess project requirements, determining material and labor costs, and coordinating with project managers and clients to provide recommendations and updates. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication will be essential in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficient in blueprint reading, construction project estimation, and understanding of drywall materials and installation processes.
- Experienced with estimation software, cost analysis tools, and creating detailed project proposals.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations and efficient project planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with clients, project managers, and subcontractors effectively.
- Knowledge of industry standards, safety protocols, and regulations related to drywall installation and construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience also considered.
- Proven ability to manage timelines and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience as an estimator or related role in the construction industry, particularly with painting or drywall projects, is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the regional market and environmental factors affecting construction projects is a plus.
