Duties
- Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, and trimming to maintain healthy and attractive lawns.
- Assist with landscape maintenance such as planting, pruning, tree care, and tree trimming.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery like excavators for various landscaping projects.
- Support hardscape installation including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Conduct snow plowing during winter months to ensure safety and accessibility.
- Assist with general construction activities related to landscaping projects.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow safety protocols at all times during outdoor operations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience or knowledge in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge related to operating hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous.
- Familiarity with horticulture practices, tree care, irrigation systems, and snow plowing is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including digging, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not required
