The ideal candidate will have experience as a Medical Receptionist and possess knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical scheduling software. Responsibilities: - Greet patients and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor - Register new patients and update existing patient information in the system - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to the appropriate department - Verify insurance information and collect co-pays or payments - Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow - Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information about services offered Skills: - Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role - Familiarity with medical scheduling software such as MEDGEN EHR.
