Position Overview
Modern Med Health Solutions, LLC is seeking a qualified Psychiatrist to provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to residents at Waco Center for Youth in Waco, Texas.
This position offers compensation of $200 per hour with the flexibility to provide services on-site or remotely through telepsychiatry. Remote providers must be available to attend their first day in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments of residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Diagnose and treat psychiatric and behavioral health disorders.
- Develop and manage individualized psychiatric treatment plans.
- Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, including documenting clinical justification for medication use.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Provide psychiatric services independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
- Active, unrestricted Texas medical license.
- Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program.
- Board-certified in Psychiatry.
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical documentation skills.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Must maintain individual professional malpractice liability insurance.
- Ability to attend the first day on-site in Waco, Texas.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $200.00 per hour.
- Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor.

- Malpractice Insurance: Required
