Job Description:

As a trusted partner in performing Compensation & Pension (disability) examinations for Veterans, Modern Med Health Solutions is seeking a part-time Psychologist, Neuropsychologist PhD or PsyD to join our team. The ideal candidate will be examining Veterans in an outpatient clinic. This position is part time, 2-3 days per week (M-F). This is not a remote position.

• Review service-related injury claim(s), review pertinent medical records, perform a face to face examination of the Veteran, complete the corresponding disability questionnaire(s), and render a medical opinion(s) if needed.
• Clinical providers are guided through a web-based examination form in a proprietary online portal to capture patient information throughout the exam. Qualified candidates must be actively licensed and able to work independently and as part of a team, have good interpersonal skills and a willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations. Candidates must possess basic computer skills.
• These examinations enable Veterans with service-related health conditions to access benefits specific to their needs.
• Perform related duties as needed.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience with TBI and PTSD is a must
• 1 year experience preferred
• No remote applicants, must be able to travel to clinic

Compensation:

• $120 per examination
• Additional $75 plus for Independent Medical Reviews (IMO)
