About the Family
This Armonk, NY family has two children — a 4.5-year-old and a newborn — and both parents work from home. They are warm, organized, and highly involved in their children’s daily routines. They are seeking a professional nanny who values partnership, communication, and structure, and who is comfortable working collaboratively alongside parents in the home.
The Role (Day-to-Day Care)
The nanny’s day begins at 8:00 AM, supporting the morning routine and helping finish breakfast. Around 8:15 AM, the nanny will drive the 4.5-year-old to school. The child returns home at approximately 11:45 AM, at which time the nanny will assist with lunch and support afternoon speech or OT sessions. Care of the newborn will be shared with the parents, with the nanny providing attentive, developmentally appropriate support throughout the day. The nanny will rarely be responsible for both children at the same time. Proactive organization, communication, and attention to child-related needs are key components of this role.
Collaboration & Communication
This is a highly collaborative role. Both parents work from home and value transparency, feedback, and teamwork. The ideal nanny is comfortable working alongside parents, sharing observations, and adjusting routines together. Comfort with feedback and open communication is essential.

Requirements:
Professional nanny experience
Comfortable driving children (school drop-off and therapies)
Experience working in a work-from-home household
Confident swimmer; comfortable supervising children in and around water (required)
