SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE, Modern Luxury Hamptons
Location: Southampton, NY
Directly Reports to: President/Group Publisher
Modern Luxury is seeking a Senior Account Executive for the Hamptons market. The Senior Account Executive must have strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. The candidate must be a team player and be able to prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Must manage sales activities and overall direction of the brand by prospecting new business and revenue sources.
Bachelor’s degree, or five to seven years related sales experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and professional journals. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients and new business prospects. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Strong organizational, communication and time management skills
2. Ability to create fully integrated proposals for clients
3. Public speaking ability
4. Strong problem-solving skills
5. Flexibility to attend events held on weeknights or weekends
6. Knowledge of the publishing industry including advertisers and ad agencies
8. Must live in the Hamptons and have your own vehicle and ability to regularly drive to meetings, appointments and company functions
