Job Description

The PM Maintenance Technician – Class C is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This entry-level role involves inspecting, servicing, and making minor repairs under supervision while adhering to safety and maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and report findings to senior technicians.
• Assist with basic repairs and replacements of components such as belts, filters, and lubrication.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update logs as needed.
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while working with tools and equipment.
• Support other maintenance team members as needed.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn maintenance procedures.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
