Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Room (ER) care. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from infancy through adulthood while working collaboratively with the healthcare team in a fast-paced environment. Our Emergency Department sees over 26,000 visits annually and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

• Deliver nursing care utilizing knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize patient care.


• Work effectively within a team setting to ensure seamless communication between emergency department staff and external responders.


• Administer drips and maintain ventilator support as necessary.


• Adhere to nursing philosophy and standards of practice in patient care efforts.


• Adapt to high-stress situations with quick decision-making and effective action.

• 12-hour day shifts with a commitment of 48 hours per week.


• Every other weekend and holiday coverage may be required.


• No scheduled on-call, but may be contacted during low census periods.


• Must accommodate to work during designated holiday blocks if scheduled and needed.

• Minimum of 2 years of current Emergency Department experience is required. More experience is preferred.


• Prior travel nursing experience of at least 3 months is required.


• Experience with the EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is required.


• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.


• Candidates must possess their own vehicle for transportation to the assignment.


• Current New Hampshire RN license or compact license must be obtained prior to starting the position.


• Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross are required.

All requests for time off (RTO) must be made at the time of submission, and the facility will not approve requests after the application has been submitted. A maximum of five days of RTO will be considered.
