Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab plays a vital role in delivering quality patient care and collaborating effectively with the healthcare team. The RN will ensure adherence to professional standards, medical center policy, and regulatory guidelines while providing excellent patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab.

• Collaborate with healthcare team members to maintain professional practice standards.


• Provide nursing care in accordance with established medical center policies and procedures.


• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Cath Lab setting.


• Monitor patient support systems and respond effectively to changes in patient conditions.


• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.

Shifts may consist of five 8-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or a combination of two 8-hour shifts with two 12-hour shifts. Scheduled hours may vary between 6:30 AM and 7:00 PM based on department needs.

Position requires participation in on-call duties, including a minimum of one full weekend every month.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Cath Lab (required).


• Previous travel experience is preferred.


• Valid state license in Michigan, active at the time of application.


• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA).
