About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to oversee custom millwork projects from award through completion. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in project management within a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
You will work closely with experienced team members and leadership, gaining real-world exposure to custom woodwork, cabinetry, and custom fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle: review architectural drawings and specifications, coordinate shop drawings, submittals, material procurement, fabrication schedules, and installation
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines; track changes and change orders
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and field teams; assist with field measurements and progress tracking
- Collaborate with drafting, production, and installation teams to align on scope, materials, and deliverables
- Support submittals, purchase orders, billings, and project closeout documentation
- Monitor production progress and help adjust schedules based on shop capacity and field conditions
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in project management, construction, millwork, or related fields (or strong willingness to learn)
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings (or eagerness to develop this skill)
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable with computers, Microsoft (Outlook and Excel) and basic software tools
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within the company
