What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Operator / CNC Machinist position at Modern Forge Indiana?
We continue to grow! Modern Forge is a steel forging manufacturer seeking CNC Operators/CNC Machinists. These positions require a minimum of 3 years experience as a CNC Mill Operator. Successful candidates will have the ability to troubleshoot CNC programs for issues and errors and have a strong math background. CNC Operators are responsible for setting up and operating 2 large CNC mills equipped with Fanac controls and rotary turn tables capable of holding .001 tolerances. CNC Operator will also assist in the development of programming and maintenance procedures and manufacturing practices. The successful CNC candidates must be able to use micrometers, various inspection equipment; have the ability to review part prints and assure machining accuracy. Fanac control experience preferred, G&M Code programming is preferred for the CNC Operator.
There is a 1st shift and a 2nd shift position open. 2nd shift has a 2:00pm start time.
Qualified candidates must be able to successfully complete background check, physical, and drug screen.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
