Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Administrator to oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth administrative functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills, with experience in accounting. This role involves coordinating various administrative tasks, supporting accounting, inside sales, and production for a manufacturing company.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations, including front desk duties and multi-line phone systems
- Maintain accurate accounting records using Sage 50 Quantum Accounting software
- Maintain contact database Act!
- Perform clerical tasks including filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Ensure effective communication across departments through phone etiquette and written correspondence
- Support inside sales administration.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office administration or office management roles with strong clerical background
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management skills
- Proficiency in Sage 50 Quantum Accounting, and multi-line phone systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—along with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and maintain professionalism at all times
- College degree preferred, High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in administrative or business fields are advantageous
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
