Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Medical Credentialing Specialist to join our team. This role combines administrative expertise in medical provider credentialing with high-level executive support to the Chief Executive Officer. The ideal candidate will be capable of balancing regulatory compliance duties with day-to-day executive-level coordination, requiring exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Medical Credentialing (Primary Scope):
Manage end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing for physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
Verify education, training, licensure, board certifications, work history, and malpractice coverage.
Prepare, submit, and follow up on applications with insurance payers, licensing boards, and credentialing bodies.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider files in accordance with NCQA, The Joint Commission, CMS, and internal standards.
Track expiration dates for licenses, certifications, and other required credentials, issuing timely renewal reminders.
Maintain confidentiality of all provider data and organizational records.
Prepare reports and assist with credentialing audits or surveys.
Executive Assistant to the CEO (Secondary Scope):
Manage and maintain the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling internal and external meetings, appointments, and events.
Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries for the CEO.
Organize and prepare materials for meetings, including agendas, minutes, and supporting documentation.
Create and design professional PowerPoint presentations for board meetings, internal briefings, and external communications.
Screen and prioritize incoming calls, emails, and correspondence for the CEO.
Liaise with senior staff, board members, and external partners on behalf of the CEO.
Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in medical credentialing, administrative support, or executive assistance.
Experience in a healthcare or executive office setting strongly preferred.
Familiarity with credentialing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in calendar management, scheduling, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
