Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Medical Credentialing Specialist  to join our team. This role combines administrative expertise in medical provider credentialing with high-level executive support to the Chief Executive Officer. The ideal candidate will be capable of balancing regulatory compliance duties with day-to-day executive-level coordination, requiring exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

Medical Credentialing (Primary Scope):

  • Manage end-to-end credentialing and re-credentialing for physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.

  • Verify education, training, licensure, board certifications, work history, and malpractice coverage.

  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on applications with insurance payers, licensing boards, and credentialing bodies.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider files in accordance with NCQA, The Joint Commission, CMS, and internal standards.

  • Track expiration dates for licenses, certifications, and other required credentials, issuing timely renewal reminders.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all provider data and organizational records.

  • Prepare reports and assist with credentialing audits or surveys.

Executive Assistant to the CEO (Secondary Scope):

  • Manage and maintain the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling internal and external meetings, appointments, and events.

  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries for the CEO.

  • Organize and prepare materials for meetings, including agendas, minutes, and supporting documentation.

  • Create and design professional PowerPoint presentations for board meetings, internal briefings, and external communications.

  • Screen and prioritize incoming calls, emails, and correspondence for the CEO.

  • Liaise with senior staff, board members, and external partners on behalf of the CEO.

  • Handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism.


Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical credentialing, administrative support, or executive assistance.

  • Experience in a healthcare or executive office setting strongly preferred.

  • Familiarity with credentialing systems  and Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in calendar management, scheduling, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work independently and maintain discretion with sensitive information.


Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
